BGCSM Overview

What Does Boys & Girls Club Do?

Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Children need a safe place to call their own. That’s why BGCSM is more important than ever.
Our staff are there when youth need us most. We provide a positive and safe place for youth, 6 – 18, to learn and to grow during after-school hours, and during school breaks with programming designed to help create, foster, and nurture productive citizens equipped with the tools to be contributing members of the community in which they live.

We provide a safe, supervised space in which they can grow and learn.  We provide homework help, social and emotional learning opportunities, fun STEM activities, recreation, arts and crafts, and a chance to make friends and socialize. We try to do new and fun things every week! We limit screen time to encourage interaction among our members.

How Can My Child Become a Member?

Clubs are open to youth from ages 6 to 18. An annual membership is only $30.
After school program and school break fees vary by site. Call your local site to inquire about our current rates for programs.
Go to the MyClubHub Portal tab to enroll.

Testimonials

I just want to give a shout out to the staff at the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Maryland in North Beach. You all showed up and persevered through heat waves and storms to provide care for these schoolagers this summer. As a parent navigating these same events, your consistency is a testament to the quality of care provided. Thank you guys so much, I hope you all are able to enjoy a bit of summer yourselves and are able to recharge.”
